Get Smart

Time spent taking care of others instead of yourself and your family will lead you to:

A.) not blog for a long time, B.) put you to sleep at 9:00 and C.) spend an insane amount of $$$ on Starbuck's.

It's hard to believe my kids are into their second 9 weeks of the school year.
This is what I can say about their performance to date....

Some people drink from the fountain of knowledge, others just gargle

Hopefully they'll get thirsty soon.

Do they gargle and spit? Like those people at wine tastings? What a waste of wine.

Happy to see you!

My God Woman, if it doesn't rain it Pours, This I know to be true , you can only lead a horse to water , if they die of thirst its by their own hand and or Hoof!
I cannot tell you how frustrated it was to have a child who was read to every night and would not put the effort into reading a chapter for there self.
Also sometimes the wine and the course's served do not entice the palate!
My child finally read the Twilight series in her 18th year, I was thrilled she'd read something all the way thru. Now goes out to buy other books as well.

My son might die of thirst before then end of the semester. He simply forgot where the fountain was.

Fourth grade is kicking his ass. He's so funny though when he acts completely innocent as he looks into his bag and wonders aloud where his book/folder/homework paper is.
